Orgasm-to-Cost Ratio

I use a zero-to-fifteen scoring system to rank toys based on how orgasmic they may be versus quality versus cost. I hope this helps you explore toys that both meet your desires and your pocketbook.

Here it is in a nutshell…

A score of 15 means I love this thing. It’s in high rotation. I’d need it if stranded on a deserted island. Can’t pry it from my cold, dead hands. A stunning toy can supersede the whole damn ranking system and shoot right up to 15. It can also delay my blog posts cuz I am busy with that toy. (Haha! True.)

A score of 0 (zero) means I find it to be a sad creation. Please save your money

Details I rank include:

Orgasm Potential

  • 5 points if its super fun
  • 4 points if it will it get a lot of people off
  • 3 points if its potentially orgasmic
  • 1 point if it’s a sub-par performer
  • 0 points if there is no hope

Body Safe Factors

  • 5 points if its body safe & easy to clean (Can be boiled, bleached, or cleaned in the top rack of a dishwasher without detergent. Can be shared with a partner if cleaned between uses.)
  • 4 points if its body safe but harder a little harder to clean (Quality materials but electronic innards means it can not be sterilized.)
  • 3 points if its body safe but not waterproof (Quality materials but can only be wiped down with a wet cloth or rubbing alcohol.)
  • 2 points if it is porous (This means it has bigger microscopic openings and can harbor bacteria. A porous toy may harbor bacteria and should not be shared with a partner without covering with a condom.)
  • 0 points if it is porous and/or as a chemical scent (A porous toy may harbor bacteria and should not be shared with a partner without covering with a condom. Not good for those with chemical sensitivities.)

Warranty

  • 5 points if it has a 5 or more year warranty
  • 4 points if it has a 1 to 4-year warranty
  • 3 points if it has a 30 to 90-day warranty
  • 0 points if it has no manufacturer warranty
